I will be RELOCATING to the US this Spring and will therefore be CLOSING my practice in early March.  If you would like a referral for a relationship specialist, please contact me and I will happily recommend Certified Imago Therapists in Hong Kong.

The February 2012 workshop for couples will carry on as scheduled.

Very Warmly,

Julie

As is the case with most expatriates in Hong Kong, my time here is drawing to a close.  Jeff and I will be moving to Los Gatos, CA, near where Jeff’s job with Cisco Systems is located.  Given the logistics of an international move and relocation (we still have a home in NC!), my practice will be closing around about the first of March.  If you have a package to complete or a relationship goal to achieve by then, please get with me to schedule appointments as soon as possible.  If we get to that point and you wish to be transitioned to another therapist, I will happily do that; there are some excellent Imago therapists in Hong Kong!

I came to Hong Kong with my family the summer of 1999 having just completed graduate school.  Working at St. John’s Counselling Service was the beginning of my third career.  Once my children left home and my husband and I were a ‘single’ couple again, it became clear to me that ‘couple’ issues were what interested me most.  A personal or professional pursuit, I returned to the States for further training and upon completion in 2005, opened a private practice to work nearly exclusively with couples; I found my passion.  Once I arrive and settle in Ca, I plan to continue working with couples, helping them to reexperience that powerful connection we all experience in the beginning of relationship.

I will be returning to Hong Kong periodically for several reasons:  to support Imago therapists in Hong and Asia with supervision and further training; to conduct workshops for couples; and to offer intensives (3-4 hour sessions) for couples wishing to give their relationship a boost from time to time.  Information will be sent via Newsletter as dates and events are set.

It has been my greatest pleasure serving you over the years.  I look forward to the possibility of seeing you personally to say ‘farewell,’ which someone once told me means, “Until we meet again.”
